1. PROJECT WORKER ? SUPPORTING WOMEN FROM ETHNIC MINORITY GROUPS AND
MIGRANT WOMEN (PART-TIME)
ADAPT DOMESTIC ABUSE SERVICES is a voluntary organization which was
established in **Apply on the website**. The Mission of ADAPT is to
offer support and safety to women and their children affected by
domestic abuse. The service is committed to challenging domestic abuse
by strengthening the capacity of individuals, communities, and
organisations to respond effectively and to change society so that
domestic abuse is no longer tolerated.
We are looking to employ a highly motivated and committed individual
to work on a 5-year project providing support to women from ethnic
minorities and migrant women who are experiencing domestic
abuse/coercive control.
The role will involve working with other agencies throughout Limerick
City and County with a view to setting up an in-reach service. It will
also involve facilitating awareness raising groups as well as
providing one-to-one support, advocacy and accompaniment to courts,
Gardai, and other services as required. The PROJECT WORKER has
particular responsibility to assure the quality of assessment, support
and safety offered to women survivors.
SALARY:
Related to qualifications and experience and in line with public
service salaries.
TYPE OF CONTRACT:
5-year fixed term contract. The post is initially part-time (**Apply

2. REFUGE RELIEF WORKERS
The primary responsibility of the Refuge Relief Worker is to provide
relief cover as required in the refuge and work as part of the refuge
team to provide safe accommodation for women survivors of domestic
abuse and their children.
